Role Description The Development Team Lead is a full-time hybrid role based in Benito Juárez, CMX, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the time. In this position, the team lead oversees a software development team, guiding technical decisions, setting priorities, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features. Day-to-day responsibilities include hands-on software and front-end development, code reviews, mentoring team members, and promoting best practices in object-oriented design.

The role also involves collaborating with product and design teams, planning sprints, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. The team lead is expected to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability within the development group.

Qualifications

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Full Stack and Frontend developers.
- Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and code quality standards across projects.
- Remain hands-on by contributing to application development, debugging, code reviews, and resolving complex technical issues.
- Design and develop scalable, secure,



and high-performance web applications using React.js, Node.js, and GraphQL.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive engineering best practices including clean code, reusable components, automated testing, and design patterns.
- Lead sprint planning, estimation, and technical execution in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Review application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Mentor developers through technical coaching, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot critical production issues when needed.
- 10 years of software development experience with at least 3 years leading engineering teams.
- Strong hands-on expertise in:React.js, Node.js, GraphQL, JavaScript (ES6 ) and TypeScript
- HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development
- Experience building scalable REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Strong proficiency with Git and modern software development practices.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with release management, deployment automation, and production support.
