Scopely is looking for a Software Engineer, Web/Full Stack to join our Pokémon GO Engineering team in Mexico City on a hybrid basis, working 3 days a week from the hub.

In this role, you will be a key individual contributor focused on developing and scaling the critical web applications and player-facing features that support the general Pokémon GO community. You will build highly interactive, responsive web experiences while ensuring seamless data integration with our backend services.
What You Will Do
We are seeking an adventurous, execution-focused Software Engineer, Web/Full Stack. We look for engineers with a strong technical background,
great execution, and a self-starter mentality. The ideal candidate loves to jump into the unknown, clarify ambiguities, quickly learn from failures, and break down vague ideas into concrete tasks.
As an individual contributor on the web applications team, you will be responsible for:

- Building well-designed, highly performant, and reusable web applications and UI components using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Crafting delightful, low-latency user interfaces that deliver a seamless experience across desktop and mobile browsers for millions of active players.
- Implementing and maintaining backend services and APIs that reliably serve data to your web applications.
- Designing and implementing efficient client-server contracts utilizing a modern suite of network protocols, including HTTP, GraphQL, and gRPC.
