Key responsibilities
- Develop and own the annual LATAM offline events calendar, aligning with regional business objectives, product launches, and key market opportunities.
- Plan and manage end-to-end delivery of diverse event formats including: industry expos and trade shows (e.g. Money Expo, Forex Expo style events), partner and affiliate events, sponsorship activations (sports, entertainment, lifestyle), gala dinners, VIP client hospitality, and exclusive networking events, roadshows and branded experiential activations
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify high-ROI event opportunities across priority LATAM markets (Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Partnerships, and Business Development teams to ensure events deliver measurable commercial outcomes (lead generation, VIP client engagement, partner recruitment, brand positioning).
- Negotiate and manage sponsorship packages, booth placements, speaking opportunities, and co-branded activations with clear ROI frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with event organizers, venues, local partners, sponsors, and key industry stakeholders across LATAM.
- Oversee all logistical aspects: venue selection, vendor management, production, AV, catering, staffing, registration, and on-site operations.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining premium brand standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (creative, content, sales, compliance, PR) to deliver consistent brand experiences.
- Ensure all events comply with local regulations, company policies, and industry compliance requirements (particularly important in regulated financial services).
- Lead post-event analysis, debriefs, and reporting with clear recommendations for future optimization.
- Track and report on event performance metrics (attendance quality, lead volume/quality, cost per lead, brand lift, pipeline contribution).
To succeed in this role, you bring:
- 3+ years of end-to-end event management experience, specifically executing large-scale offline events, expos,
and VIP activations within the LATAM region.
- Proven experience in financial services, fintech, online trading (CFDs, Forex, Crypto), or highly regulated industries.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required; Portuguese is a strong advantage.
- Established local vendor, venue, and event organizer networks across key markets (Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile).
- Willingness to travel across LATAM for site inspections, execution, and on-site event management where needed.
- Ability to build regional event calendars, conduct competitive market research, track performance metrics and present post-event debriefs.
- Skilled in securing high-value sponsorship packages, booth placements, speaking slots, and local vendor contracts while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Expertise in venue sourcing, AV/production oversight, registration systems, catering, staffing, and live on-site execution.
- Ability to align with Sales, Business Development, Partnerships, Creative, PR, and Legal/Compliance teams to deliver compliant brand experiences.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end budget management, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage high-net-worth VIP clients, industry sponsors, and executive leadership.
What's in for you :
- Competitive compensation package.
- Work-life balance and flexibility.
- 21 days of PTO + local holidays.
- Flexible model, fully remote or hybrid in CDMX.
- Be part of a people focused culture wanting to make a great impact in the region.
