Turn what it costs us to build something into the price we can win it at. You will sit between manufacturing, engineering, finance and the commercial teams, where an opportunity stops being an idea and becomes a number someone has to defend.

Essential Functions

- Quotation Models: Build and maintain the models and cost structures behind our pricing, incorporating material, labor and overhead.
- Viability Analysis: Assess profitability and financial feasibility before we quote, including opportunities with no precedent to work from.
- Cost Translation: Work with operating areas to understand what it costs to deliver a product or service, and turn that into financial terms.
- Cross Functional Coordination:



Pull inputs and assumptions from plant, finance, engineering and commercial teams to close a quotation.
- Process and Systems: Contribute to the standardization of how we quote and to the implementation of our new financial system, as the reference user from the finance side.
- Database Ownership: Keep quotation trackers and opportunity databases current and auditable.

Technical Skills

- Experience: 5 to 8 years in costing, quotations, project evaluation or financial analysis. We are hiring at two levels of seniority.
- Modeling: Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
- Methods: Cost structure analysis, pricing, and project evaluation methods such as NPV, IRR, payback and sensitivity analysis.
- Systems: Hands on participation in a financial system implementation, from the user or business side, is a strong plus.

Job Profile

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Background: Manufacturing is valued, automotive is a plus. Consulting, transaction services, valuation or corporate development is a strong plus for the more senior of the two.
- Mindset: Looks things up and proposes rather than waiting to be told. Comfortable building structure where none exists.
- Judgment: The number has to make business sense, not just add up.
- Schedule: Hybrid, two days on site per week
- Languages: Advanced English required.
