The Role

At Sovos, we're transforming how global organizations approach tax compliance through technology-driven solutions. As Manager, Infrastructure Programs, you'll lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-impact technology initiatives across general teams. This role offers strategic oversight and execution discipline while mentoring Project Managers and driving continuous improvement in delivery practices that directly support our mission to deliver world-class compliance solutions.

More specifically, you will:

- Provide senior-level oversight for a portfolio of cross-functional technology and operations initiatives, ensuring timely delivery within budget while leveraging AI tools to optimize project planning and resource allocation.




- Lead complex, high-visibility projects directly when needed, maintaining clear executive-level visibility into project status, risks, dependencies, and financial health.
- Manage and mentor Project Managers, setting expectations for delivery quality, execution standards, and fostering team capability development.
- Drive effective change management, risk mitigation, and operational readiness across initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and sustainable outcomes.
- Own portfolio-level budget planning, forecasting, and financial discipline in partnership with finance and leadership teams.
- Establish and reinforce delivery governance, documentation standards, and operational handoffs to maintain consistency across programs.
- Promote continuous improvement in project delivery practices by identifying opportunities for process optimization and implementing AI-assisted workflows where applicable.

What You Bring to Sovos

- You've built solid experience leading project management initiatives within technology, infrastructure, or operations environments, with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional, multi-team programs.
- Strong English communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels across globally distributed teams.
- Availability to attend the office once a week in Condesa, CDMX.
- Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring Project Managers, with strong background in change management, risk management, and budget ownership.




- Excellent financial acumen and stakeholder management skills, with ability to operate effectively in complex, fast-moving, and ambiguous environments.
- Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and willingness to explore emerging tools that enhance project delivery and team productivity.
- Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.
