Position Overview The Logistics & Trade Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring full compliance with international trade regulations across North America operations, with a strong focus on Mexico–U.This role supports import/export operations while serving as a key compliance control point for customs documentation, audit readiness, and regulatory adherence. The idóneo candidate combines strong knowledge of trade compliance frameworks with operational logistics experience, ensuring efficient and compliant movement of goods across borders.
Essential Job
Functions and Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all applicable international trade regulations, including USMCA, Mexican Customs Law, VAT Certification (IVA) U.Maintain and support compliance with Annex 24 system requirements, ensuring accurate and timely control of inventory records, imports, exports, and reconciliation processes in coordination with IMMEX operations. Support and maintain compliance with CTPAT security criteria,
including supply chain security procedures, documentation controls, and partner compliance validation. Assist in internal and external audits related to trade compliance programs (Annex 24, CTPAT, OEA, customs audits).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or trade compliance roles. Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs compliance, and trade agreements (USMCA). Proficiency in ERP systems and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Certifications: Relevant certifications in HTS Codes, logistics or trade compliance are a plus. Advanced degree or specialization in International Trade, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
Experience with automated routing systems and multi-location inventory management.
