What You'll OwnMonth-End Close & Financial ReportingExecute accurate and timely month-end close processesPrepare and maintain:P&L; statements,balance sheets,cash flow reports,and supporting schedulesEnsure financial reporting aligns with:GAAP standards,client expectations,and reporting deadlinesMaintain clean, audit-ready workpapers and reconciliationsPayroll & Employee SetupProcess payroll accurately using:Gusto,Paylocity,ADP,or similar systemsManage employee onboarding within payroll platformsEnsure payroll compliance and documentation accuracyHandle payroll adjustments, deductions, reimbursements, and reportingCore Accounting OperationsOversee:Accounts Payable (AP),Accounts Receivable (AR),General Ledger management,and reconciliationsMaintain accurate books across:multiple entities,locations,or business segmentsEnsure accounting systems remain organized and error-freeSupport day-to-day accounting execution with strong attention to detailSales Tax & ComplianceCalculate and file U.S. state sales tax accurately and on timeMaintain compliance documentation and filing recordsEnsure adherence to accounting policies and financial proceduresSupport audits and compliance-related requests when neededReporting,
