You'll remain hands-on with Google Ads while coaching your team, reviewing campaign quality, managing escalations, improving processes, and driving client retention.Your goal: deliver excellent PPC performance, develop stronger Account Managers, and keep great clients longer.What You'll OwnGoogle Ads Strategy & Client ManagementOwn a reduced portfolio of high-value Google Ads/PPC accountsDevelop and optimize strategies based on performance data and business objectivesAnalyze campaign results and provide actionable recommendationsServe as a senior strategic advisor and escalation pointIdentify account risks before they impact retentionManage high-stakes client conversationsIdentify upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesTeam Leadership & CoachingLead a pod of up to 7 Google Ads Account Managers.Run weekly 1:1s, coaching sessions, and role playsReview campaign strategy, client calls, and deliverable qualityQA Account Manager work and maintain PPC standardsCoach team members on Google Ads and Local Services Ads (LSA)Onboard and train new Account ManagersSupport hiring and performance evaluationsAllocate accounts and balance team capacityIdentify and address performance gapsYou won't build campaigns for your Account Managers—you'll set the standard, QA their work, unblock issues, and develop their skills.Client Retention & EscalationsAct as the first escalation point for Account ManagersHandle complex client, payment,



and technical issuesMonitor client health and identify churn risksCoach team members through difficult client conversationsMaintain strong communication and service standards across the podSystems, QA & Process ImprovementEnsure adherence to company SOPs and quality standardsAudit communication, calls, campaigns, and deliverablesIdentify broken or inefficient processesDocument and improve SOPsLead adoption of new workflows and toolsTrack and report pod-level performance metricsRequirements3–5 years of hands-on Google Ads experienceProven ability to build, optimize, and scale profitable PPC campaignsStrong ability to audit and QA Google Ads accountsPrevious experience leading, mentoring, or coaching Account Managers or client-facing teamsDemonstrated ability to improve team performanceStrong client communication and escalation-management skillsExperience building repeatable processes, SOPs, and QA systemsStrong analytical and strategic decision-making skillsThis is not a first-time management role.
