ROLE SUMMARYThis position is overall Responsible to plan and coordinate all maintenance and inspectionactivities on assigned rig.
Manage maintenance priorities with overall rig operation prioritiesto maximize rig efficiency.JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES• Responsible for input and cost control measures to ensure that annual maintenancecosts are managed within the rig budget.
• Advise others of modifications, changes to procedures, and/or frequencies that improvethe Fontis Maintenance System and follow the Fontis Management of Change Systemon an ongoing basis.
• Coordinate planning of all maintenance activities for the rig with the MaintenanceManager, Rig Manager, and other department heads to optimize time and efficiency.
• Ensure replacement parts are maintained at an optimum level to support uninterruptedoperations.
• Verify that entries on work permits, isolation tags, and logs accurately reflect the statusof equipment.
• Ensure material requisitions accurately reflect required materials and services, and thatunused materials are properly documented and returned to inventory.
• Participate in company-approved and recommended training as required, both onshoreand offshore.




• Maintain accurate maintenance records to ensure compliance with regulationsgoverning the rig location.
• Treat all team members with respect, fairness, and professionalism.
• Participate in the development and mentorship of newly appointed crew members.
• Ensure completion and communication of annual performance reviews for allmaintenance crew members.
• Assist team in the maintenance of equipment as required.
• Promote and implement the principles of continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance and support to fellow team members as needed.
• Any other matters as deemed necessary by Company Management.QUALIFICATIONS• Preferably a bachelor's degree: High school Degree or any equivalent, or Mechanical• Engineering preferably.
• Years of experience: 5 years of experience in drilling related industry, preferably 2 years of experience in the position.
• Previous experience in relevant maintenance positions.SKILLS / ABILITIES • Computer skills• Excellent interpersonal skills• Able to work independently and as a team player.
• Fluent English.
• Familiar with drilling and hull side equipment.
