Excel Nearshore is seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer with experience in Oracle Financials , and exposure to .NET technologies and Microsoft Azure . The adecuado candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions that support enterprise financial applications and business-critical processes.

This role requires strong expertise in Oracle database development, performance tuning, and financial systems, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

This is a fully remote position from México.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers to support application functionality and improve performance.
- Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, query optimization, and root cause analysis.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Support and maintain Oracle Financial processes including:

⚬ General Ledger (GL) ⚬ Accounts Receivable (AR)

⚬ Accounts Payable (AP)

- Collaborate with development teams supporting .NET applications and Azure-based cloud solutions.
- Develop and support data integrations, reporting solutions, ETL processes, and batch jobs.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, deployment, and production support activities.




- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide ongoing support for production environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Development.
- Strong expertise in Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Query Optimization and Performance Tuning.
- Extensive experience developing and maintaining Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions and Triggers.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Financial Accounting processes, including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP).
- Experience supporting financial or enterprise business applications.
- Exposure to .NET technologies and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with Azure Data Services and cloud-based integrations.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and data reconciliation processes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise financial systems.
