Job SummaryReporting to the Engineering Project Manager, the Civil Engineer will perform civil engineering work for both the private and public sectors.
In this role, work includes site development, commercial development plans, subdivisions, and roadways utilizing Civil 3D and other applicable software programs.
Additionally, the Civil Engineer will exhibit exceptional professional and communication skills in a collaborative environment.
The Civil Engineer, with the guidance of the Engineering Project Manager, works to meet the needs of clients by providing excellent technical input and customer service.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepares engineering plans, design calculations, specifications, bid documents and cost estimatesConducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineerCreates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, andfinal working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineerCollects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineerUses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problemsPerforms work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule undersupervisionCompletes tasks efficiently by utilizing time to complete tasks accurately, ontime, and within budgetVisits sites regularly and attends meetings with clients/contractors as neededCommunicates with project team members, client representatives, and others as appropriate to the projectThis position is located in person in Midland TX.

Required Skills and AbilitiesCivil design experience in roadway, grading, drainage, utility,
