BIM GIS Coordinator II – VDC Administrator(For Kaeppel Consulting's client, as part of a build out program.
Candidates will be employed and paid through Kaeppel Consulting's partner firm.
This is a direct-hire role.
Location & Schedule:West Los AngelesHybrid: 4 days onsite (Mon–Thurs), 1 remote day (Fri)Overview:The VDC Administrator supports BIM implementation and document management systems for the Build-LACCD program.
This role works closely with the BIM Manager, PMO, and college teams to ensure deliverables are accurate, compliant, and properly tracked.Key Responsibilities:BlueBeam: Manage studio sessions, provide training, and offer general supportProjectWise: Oversee database, manage users, upload/download files, provide training, and monthly reportingQA/QC:



Review DSA/CD/As-Built/redline drawing sets for completeness and complianceGIS & BIM Modeling: Provide support using ArcGIS, Revit, Lidar, and assist with supplemental modelingCommunication & Reporting: Liaise with college teams, track deliverables, and report to the PMOTravel: Visit campuses as neededWork Breakdown:50% ProjectWise20% BlueBeam10% General Support10% Modeling10% TravelQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Mgmt, Architectural Engineering, or related field (or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)1+ year of experience as a VDC Coordinator, Project Engineer, or similar role
