This is a specialized role focused on estimating projects involving tank rehabilitation, protective coatings, and steel preservation—not general construction.You will own the full estimating lifecycle, from reviewing plans and performing takeoffs to developing pricing strategies and preparing bid packages, while collaborating with a remote US-based estimating team.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the complete estimating process for industrial coatings and structural painting projectsPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for preservation, rehabilitation, and protective coating workReview drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirementsPerform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, equipment,



material, subcontractor, and production costsDevelop estimates for projects involving:Water tanksOil and fuel tanksGround storage tanksElevated storage tanksSteel coating and preservation systemsPrepare bid packages, pricing recommendations, and proposal support documentationCollaborate remotely with internal estimating teams and project stakeholdersSupport project handoff activities as needed to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to operationsMaintain organized estimate files, assumptions, and supporting documentationRequired Qualifications5+ years of estimating experience within industrial construction environmentsDemonstrated experience estimating structural painting and industrial coatings projectsProven expertise with:Tank rehabilitationWater storage infrastructureOil and fuel tank projectsSteel preservation and protective coating systemsExperience owning estimates from initial review through final pricing submissionFamiliarity with US construction standards, specifications, and workflowsExperience collaborating remotely with US-based teamsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred QualificationsExperience estimating projects within the Florida marketBackground in bridge preservation or steel rehabilitation projectsFamiliarity with protective coating systems and industrial preservation methodsExperience with elevated and ground storage tank projectsPreferred Software ExperienceOn-Screen TakeoffPlanSwiftTogal.AIBluebeamAdvanced Microsoft ExcelImportant NoteThis role requires specialized industry expertise.
