CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of Capacity development program management specialist, to work in the CIMMYT Academy.




The position will be based at CIMMYT headquarters in Texcoco, State of Mexico, near Mexico City.
Specific duties:
- Co-design capacity development courses, programs, solutions and interventions with the research programs at CIMMYT and other technical partners that collaborate with the Academy.
- In close coordination with his/her supervisor, the resource persons and partner institutions - plan, draft, finalize, implement, facilitate, monitor and evaluate training courses, training programs and projects.
- Technical management will likely involve a combination of guidance, training, facilitation of organizational assessments, and development of strategies and institutional strengthening plans.
- Provide strategic guidance on the implementation of Capacity Development and training activities with research programs.
