Senior Backend Developer (Java/Spring Boot)

We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Java/Spring Boot) with deep Java expertise to design and build scalable, cloud-native microservices for leading banking and financial services clients.

What You'll Do

- Design and develop microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot
- Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs (OAuth2, JWT, API Gateway patterns)
- Apply SOLID principles, clean architecture, and proven design patterns
- Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka/RabbitMQ
- Optimize performance through threading, memory management, and JVM tuning
- Write automated tests (JUnit, Mockito) and maintain strong code coverage
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Work across relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases
- Implement logging, monitoring,



and observability best practices

What You Bring

- 8+ years of hands-on Java (J2EE) development
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Proven track record designing and implementing microservices architectures
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud-native deployments
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database and advanced SQL
- Experience with Kafka and/or NATS (event-driven systems)
- Familiarity with Redis and Cassandra
- Experience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) is a plus
- Knowledge of Splunk or similar monitoring/observability tools
- Solid grasp of SOLID, DRY, and clean architecture principles
