We’re Hiring: Senior Interior Designer | Commercial Contract Furniture

WeCollabify is looking for an experienced Interior Designer / Commercial Contract Furniture Designer to support a U.S.-based client working across Federal Government, State Government, Military, Education, and Commercial sectors .

This is a production-focused design role for someone who can independently translate site information, client requirements, and manufacturer specifications into accurate, functional, and presentation-ready furniture layouts.

What we’re looking for:

- 8–10+ years of professional experience in Interior Design, Commercial Interiors, Workplace Design, or Contract Furniture.
- Proven experience working on U.S.-based projects is required.
- English C1 or higher with strong professional communication skills.
- Experience with commercial office environments, government facilities, workspace planning, furniture layouts, cubicles, conference rooms, and lounge areas .
- CET Commercial Interiors experience is highly preferred.
- Strong contract furniture professionals without CET experience may also be considered if they can learn CET quickly .
- Ability to produce 2D plans, 3D layouts,



renderings, and furniture specifications .
- Experience selecting and configuring products from manufacturer furniture catalogs .
- Strong understanding of practical layout considerations, including egress, power availability, measurements, furniture fit, access constraints, and space planning .
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, take ownership of deliverables, and respond quickly to revisions.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, reliable, collaborative, and interested in growing with a long-term team.

The adecuado candidate combines strong design judgment with technical accuracy and speed . You should be comfortable taking a project from site measurements, photos, videos, and customer requirements through completed furniture layouts and visual deliverables while identifying potential issues before they become problems.
