As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications and distributed systems. You will work with cloud-native technologies, modern development frameworks, and scalable architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. In addition to hands-on development, you will mentor engineers, champion best practices, and help drive engineering innovation through modern development methodologies and AI-assisted tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to analyze, refine, and define requirements for complex software solutions.
- Create and review detailed technical designs and specifications for system components and applications.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable software applications and services.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring system stability and performance.
- Partner with engineers, architects, product teams, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Promote engineering excellence through coding standards, code reviews, testing strategies, and development best practices.
- Contribute effectively within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid development environments.
- Design and optimize complex data models with a focus on performance, scalability, and data integrity.
- Support and maintain cloud-based and distributed systems, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends,



and modern software development practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across architecture, engineering processes, and software delivery practices.
- Contribute to technical innovation and operational excellence across the engineering organization.

What You Bring
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, including modern front-end and back-end development.
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and services, with experience building and operating cloud-native applications.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
- Deep understanding of scalability, performance optimization, system reliability, and cloud architecture tradeoffs.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Knowledge of modern software delivery practices, including automated testing, continuous deployment, and progressive delivery strategies.
- Experience with API management, authentication, and authorization frameworks.
- Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, and application performance management tools.
- Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Experience implementing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and maintaining high-quality engineering standards.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging or streaming platforms.
- Interest in leveraging AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and contribute to complex technical initiatives.
