Hi! We are currently looking for a Senior Labor & Litigation Counsel for MEXICO

Location: Puebla, Mexico

We are conducting an executive search for a Senior Labor & Litigation Counsel to join a multinational manufacturing group. This role will serve as the primary legal advisor on labor and employment matters across operations in Mexico, providing both strategic and day‑to‑day support to HR and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

- Advise on employment law, employee relations, and compliance with Mexican labor regulations.
- Manage employment litigation, labor disputes, and collective bargaining negotiations.
- Lead sensitive internal investigations and conduct legal audits.
- Draft and implement workplace policies aligned with business objectives.
- Supervise external counsel and manage litigation spend.
- Deliver training programs for HR and management on labor law topics.

Candidate Profile
- Law degree from an accredited Mexican law school (mandatory).




- Active bar license in good standing with a Mexican jurisdiction (indispensable).
- Master’s degree in labor law or related field preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of solid, accredited experience in labor and employment law.
- Proven track record managing litigation and advising on labor relations.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or multinational environments strongly preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Hands‑on, business‑oriented, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
