Software

Engineer with full-stack experience and hands-on experience building scalable applications in Elixir & Python. This role is an opportunity to use a wide variety of design and technical web skills to help us manage day-to-day requests as well as leverage your experience while gaining new experience from the team. You must have a passion for innovative software development and willingness to roll up your sleeves to collaborate with all teams.

We want to see you shine by showing us work you are most proud of!Who you are:You thrive in a collaborative engineering environment that plays to everyone's strengths with a willingness to work across the entire stack. Ideally, you have Elixir, Python & JavaScript experience, but more importantly, you care about the quality of your work, the impactful product you help build, and the team you help build it with.

You have AWS experience and are willing to learn from people with both more and less experience than you. You lead by example in adopting and operationalizing AI tools—both within the product and across the development lifecycle.What you will do:Learn the AlertMedia platform and tools, and its uses for our customersWork with Elixir, Python,



JavaScript and other web technologies to deliver leading software solutions in the mass communications spaceUse AI tools in both the product and the development lifecycleWork in an Agile based environment using tools like Git, JIRA, CircleCI, and SlackContribute to the technology lead that AlertMedia has over other solutions through innovative development and by helping contribute new ideas related to leveraging technology in our product lineUse strong verbal and written communication skills in collaboration with other engineering and product teamsContribute to AlertMedia’s culture, values and vision for the futureWhat you bring to the role:Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred6-8 years of experience building scalable applications with modern frameworks using Elixir, Python, JavaScript, Django, and ReactExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS or other cloud experience a must)Postgres & Redis development experienceProficiency leveraging AI tools for product developmentStrong organizational skills and ability to manage working on multiple projects in parallelThe ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging environmentOutstanding communication skills and ability to effectively work cross-functionally in a fast-paced challenging environmentEnglish proficiency (written and oral) is requiredThis position is based in Mexico. Must reside in Mexico and have permanent residency.
