About the Team

Ensure that the production processes within the assigned lines meet customer requirements based on the company's techniques, procedures, and policies. The purpose is to achieve the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale results defined in the business plan, ensuring the accomplishment of the Business Unit's objectives.

What You can look forward to as a Sr Supplier Development Engineer:

Develop existing suppliers with quality issues (VDA 6.3 Process Audits, Risk Analysis, Capability Analysis, Supplier Assessment Monitor, QR83) to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Lead the technical evaluation and approval of new suppliers through the analysis of VDA 6.3 Process Audits, Risk Analysis, Capability Analysis, Supplier Assessment Monitor, and QD83 to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Assess manufacturing, quality, and capacity feasibility while ensuring compliance with internal and customer requirements.

Lead APQP, PPAP, Process Release Audits, and Run@Rate activities with suppliers for new components, new technologies, high-volume products, and highly complex products to prevent quality issues.

Collaborate in decision-making processes with Direct Material Buyers and Project Buyers regarding supplier and component approvals.





Support Material Planners during the escalation process when suppliers experience quality and/or delivery issues.

Provide support to the Purchasing team in supplier negotiations, seeking the best solutions in terms of cost, quality, and delivery performance for ZF.

Your Profile as a Sr Supplier Development Engineer:

At least 2 years of experience in the same position

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

Advanced conversational English is required

Previous experience in the Quality area

Advanced use of problem-solving tools and Core Quality Tools (Core Tools)
