This role combines interpersonal expertise with writing excellence to capture client stories and support our legal mission.What You'll DoConduct 2-hour long interviews with clients who have been victims of domestic abuse and/or human trafficking.Write legal declarations based on the information received during the initial interview.Call clients to schedule your interviews with them.Keep client and case information up to date at all times on our platforms.What We're Looking ForRequired SkillsStrong writing skills with excellent command of written English—grammar, structure, clarity, and impactExcellent written and spoken EnglishA solid background in writing and demonstrated storytelling ability (formal legal writing training is not required)Strong interviewing and communication skills.
Candidates with experience in interviewing, storytelling, client advocacy, journalism, or related fields are encouraged to apply.Essential QualitiesProactive and self-directed—you take initiative independently without requiring constant supervisionFlexible and open-minded, with a willingness to adapt to new processes and workflowsEmotionally intelligent and empathetic, with the ability to handle sensitive topics with care and discretionHighly organized and detail-orientedApplication RequirementsPlease include a writing sample with your application.
