As part of Scalepex, you'll work with international clients, modern tools, and a supportive team committed to excellence.What You'll Be Responsible ForApplication Development:Build and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby and the Rails framework.
Back-End Logic & APIs:Implement server-side logic, develop RESTful APIs, and manage background jobs.
Database Management:Design and maintain database schemas, optimize queries, and work with Postgre SQL or My SQL.
Integrations:Connect applications with third-party APIs and integrate front-end components with backend processes.
Quality & Testing:Implement automated testing (RSpec, Minitest), participate in code reviews, and ensure code quality.
Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues.
Collaboration:Work with designers, product managers, and engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments.




Deployment (Optional/Senior):Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments using AWS, Heroku, or similar platforms.
What We're Looking ForStrong proficiency inRubyandRuby on Rails , including MVC, ORM, and RESTful design.
Experience with relational databases ( Postgre SQL, My SQL ) and schema design.
Basic knowledge of front-end technologies ( Java Script, HTML5, CSS3 ) for integration purposes.
Proficiency withGitand version control best practices.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and ability to work in remote, cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering , or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.Nice-to-HavesExperience withRedis, Sidekiq , or other background job tools
Familiarity withDocker
Experience deploying apps toAWS, Heroku , or other cloud environments
Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Circle CI
