This position will support different business lines within our Global Facilities Services Practice: Industrial, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Aerospacial, Consumer products, healthcare, and Mission-critical data center projects, one of the fastest growing and most technically advanced industries globally. The role is part of our expanding Integral Facilities Services (GFS) project team based in Mexico City, providing immediate involvement in largescale, highly complex projects. Burns & McDonnell is actively recruiting a Senior Architect to join this segment of our growing business. This position offers unique opportunities for both personal and professional growth through a wide range of project responsibilities and leadership roles. The ideal candidate is a motivated, team‑oriented architect with a desire to guide multidisciplinary project teams—including in‑house engineers, designers, scientists, and builders—on complex, high‑performance facilities.





Coordinate with Burns & McDonnell counterparts to understand scope requirements, provide discipline leadership, and ensure project deadlines are met.
Mentor and lead teams in producing accurate technical and contract documentation for construction.
Inform design teams on local codes, permitting requirements, and industry best practices.
Lead construction administration duties including bid support, site visits, addressing technical issues, and improving design quality during construction.
Manage, mentor, and support the recruitment of architectural resources, including those producing renderings and visualization content.
Support project schedule, scope, budget, and change‑management activities.
Bachelor's degree in architecture.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), 3D coordination tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience leading architectural discipline teams and delegating work on large projects.
Ability to perform quality reviews for architectural and engineering documentation.
EPC project experience.
