Summary
The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst serves as a subject matter expert within Accounts Payable, managing complex transactions and acting as a key escalation point for the team. This role requires strong judgment, advanced stakeholder interaction, and active involvement in escalated support cases across the Americas region.
In addition to operational excellence, this role applies structured project management discipline and data-driven analysis to improve processes, reduce risk, and strengthen the overall Procure-to-Pay (P2P) ecosystem.

Demonstrates enterprise‑level AP expertise , applying strategic judgment to independently manage complex and high‑risk transactions while anticipating upstream and downstream impacts across the P2P and financial ecosystem.

Leads and supports cross-functional initiatives and process improvement efforts within AP and P2P, applying project management discipline (planning, timelines, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment) to deliver measurable outcomes.
Leverages data analytics to monitor AP performance, identify trends, root causes, and process inefficiencies, and translate findings into actionable insights that improve cycle times, reduce errors, and enhance operational decision-making .
Builds strong cross-functional relationships and engages regional, operational, and leadership partners with professionalism, ensuring sensitive or urgent payment matters are handled with transparency, composure, and credibility.
Embodies a controls-driven mindset , proactively identifying compliance risks, reinforcing SOX and regulatory requirements,
and strengthening the overall control environment within AP operations.
Applies advanced analytical thinking and data-driven methodologies to identify structural patterns in escalations, backlog drivers, and payment performance, converting insights into targeted process improvements and measurable operational gains.
Demonstrates end-to-end ownership of Accounts Payable processes , including invoice lifecycle management, vendor interactions, payment execution, exception handling, and reconciliation, with a focus on continuous optimization across the P2P lifecycle.
Acts as a change advocate , contributing to process standardization, documentation, and system enhancements by connecting operational realities to broader strategic goals.
Demonstrates advanced stakeholder influence and executive-level communication , tailoring messaging to diverse audiences, driving alignment across functions, and establishing trust and clarity at all levels of leadership
