key responsibilities

- perform system-level testing and validation for automotive systems.
- develop and execute test cases and test scripts for hil environments.
- configure, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain hil test systems.
- perform automated testing using ni teststand, automationdesk, ecu-test , or similar tools.
- develop and debug automation scripts for testing and validation.
- analyze test results, identify issues, and support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- work with automotive communication protocols including can, obd, j1939, and uds .
- collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to resolve test-related issues.
- support test documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of testing processes.

required skills & qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in automotive testing or system validation.
- diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical & electronics engineering, electronics & communication engineering , or a related field.




- strong automotive domain experience with system testing .
- hands-on experience with hil systems and troubleshooting.
- experience with hil platforms/tools such as ni, dspace, vector, or etas .
- hands-on experience with ni teststand, automationdesk, ecu-test , or similar test automation tools.
- good understanding of test automation scripting and debugging .
- knowledge of can, obd, j1939, and uds protocols.
- powertrain testing/validation experience is an added advantage.

preferred experience

- experience working with automotive oems or tier 1 suppliers .
- knowledge of ecu testing and validation methodologies.
- experience with test execution, defect tracking, test reporting, and troubleshooting.
- ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
