About the role:
This entry-level role is adecuado for someone looking to grow their accounting career while gaining hands-on experience in healthcare finance operations. This role will assist with daily financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and supporting month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Record and classify financial transactions related to healthcare operations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports.
Perform bank reconciliations.
Support the processing of payments to vendors, investors, and third parties.
Help maintain accurate general ledger accounts and subledgers.
Assist with audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Track and reconcile funding, payoffs, and servicing entries.
Collaborate with the different departments for financial data accuracy.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (completed).
1–2 years of accounting experience preferred, ideally in the banking, or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc).
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to healthcare industry regulations and financial workflows.
What We Offer:
Salary $24k gross
