Quality Assurance Tester
with the following skill set. Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering support in drilling and completions area to DWP team.
Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality.
Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories.
Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria.
Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality.
Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing.
Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows.
Define, create and maintain Test environments.
Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories.
Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality.
Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion.
Track Bugs through resolution and implementation.
Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition.




Required Skills & Qualifications
QA experience
Petroleum Industry Background
Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications).
Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including:
Well construction – drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoring
Well completions – completion designs, well performance analysis
Experience with engineering applications such as Well Cat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.
Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tool.
Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc.
ISTQB foundation level certified (Optional).
Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure Dev Ops/TFS, JIRA).
Comfortable with Agile methodologies.
Excellent Communication Skills.
