Relocation within Mexico is available. ## What youu2019ll do: Job Summary Support the plant in meeting customer expectations by developing u0026 administering HR policies, processes, u0026 programs. Administer the integral HR policies in reference to compensation, employee relations, recruiting, talent development, talent acquisition and community services. Manages the human resources function in Monterrey, Mexico with a strong emphasis in establishing and improving key HR systems and processes necessary to support growth. ## Job Responsibilities: You will provide strategic and operational leadership for the HR function for the manufacturing team in the Monterrey, MX operation. As an integral part of the site leadership team you will identify, develop and deploy business-driven HR strategies designed to attract, manage, develop, motivate and retain talent while creating a high-performance, sustainable organization capable of achieving the business objectives and action plans. Essential functions:
u2022 Manage the authorized profit plan for the department with regards to monthly expenses, budget and account management.
u2022 Administer and support the inclusion and diversity, talent development and talent acquisition. With the help of the Staff work to improve employee engagement and adding value to our community to be part of it.
u2022 Represent the organization for all legal and governmental activities when required working closely with company attorney.
u2022 Supervises the maintenance of the human resources information systems to ensure data integrity and alignments with the Mexican and US HRI systems.
u2022 Provides guidance to senior management in the implication of changes in management policies or programs, organization of economic or market trends, product or production method changes.
u2022 Support environmental policy ISO14001 and quality policy ISO9000 to comply with the established procedures.
u2022 Ensure that the plant complies with all relevant employment legislation, US and Mexican u0026 plant and Corporate company policies
u2022 Support u0026 advise plant management u0026 employees with regards to company policies u0026 employment laws, both US and Mexican
u2022 Promote a positive employee relations climate in the plant through implementation of Eatonu2019s Human Resources Operational Reviews
u2022 Lead u0026 improve training u0026 development related processes, including needs analysis, design u0026 delivery of training, u0026 development programs
u2022 Ensure organization practices align with the Eaton Philosophy.
u2022 Manage salary u0026 wage processes, including ensuring benchmarking within Eaton u0026 against external marketplace data. Compensation: Administer
compensation programs to assure competitive pay practices through systems that strive to reward superior employee performance.
u2022 Ensure proper u0026 effective personnel administration u0026 reporting as required by Eaton u0026 externally.
u2022 Introduce u0026 implement HR policies u0026 procedures, including performance management processes (APEX), in accordance with Eaton standards
u2022 Performance Management: Through the performance management system (APEX) to ensure that annual employee job performance assessments are conducted. This includes the annual goal setting process,
the annual assessment process and periodic feedback sessions that strive to raise the performance bar in the organization.
u2022 Provide leadership, management, coaching u0026 development to staff.
u2022 Continually support the education and cross training of all subordinates
u2022 Support the corporate programs for cost savings and other service improvements
u2022 Promote environmental, health and safety policies, procedures and activities of industrial security.
u2022 Contribute to the success of the implementation of MESH and achieve the recordable incident rate goal.
u2022 Maintain HR KPIs, such as Headcount, turnover, attendance, absenteeism etc.
u2022 Performs other duties as assigned. ## Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
* Bacheloru2019s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field is required.
* 7+ years of experience managing human resources in the manufacturing environment.
* Compensation and benefits management experience and must be able to conduct market surveys and analysis.
* Policy, procedure, process and HR metrics administration.
* Organizational development and team administration.
* In-depth knowledge of employment laws in Mexico.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
* Microsoft Office skills.
* Proficiency in English and Spanish.
* Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without company sponsorship now or in the future. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Masteru0027s Degree from an accredited institution.
