Security Manager Position Mission:
Ensure the protection of people, assets, reputation, and business continuity in the market by ensuring the consistent implementation of Nestlé Group Security Requirements and Best Practices across the entire value chain. The role must embed security into operations and the organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Management and Governance
Develop and implement the Market Annual Security Plan aligned with the general and regional strategy.
Lead the Market Security Committee (SeCo), ensuring governance and engagement from key functions such as HR, Legal, Supply Chain, and Technical.
Monitor Security Program maturity indicators, including Governance, Processes, Culture, and Monitoring.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation
Conduct Threat Assessments at country and local levels, as well as Site Security Risk Assessments with robust mitigation plans.
Update threat and risk assessments, including contingency and evacuation plans.
Monitor critical risks such as organized crime, protests, kidnapping, cargo theft, and/or cargo contamination.
Crisis Management
Lead the Local Crisis Committee for security-related incidents.
Prepare and coordinate contingency plans for civil unrest, violence, and logistics disruptions.
Compliance and Audit




Ensure compliance with the Nestlé Group Mandatory Security Standard and local regulations.
Conduct internal and external security audits.
Report monthly and quarterly data to the Zone Security Manager.
External Relations
Establish networks with local authorities, law enforcement agencies, international organizations, and professional associations.
Benchmark with other companies to identify best practices.
Supplier Management
Select, evaluate, and monitor security service providers.
Ensure ethical protocols and legal compliance.
Security Education and Culture
Develop training and awareness programs, including Security Induction, Crisis Management, and Hostile Environment training.
Promote a security culture and continuous communication.
Technical Competencies:
Experience in physical security, cargo transportation security, complex risk management, and executive protection.
Knowledge of corporate investigations, policies, and best practices.
Familiarity with digital tools and the MS Office suite.
Desired certifications: ASIS - CPP® and/or PSP®, ISO 31000, ISO 18788.
