**Job Summary and Scope**:Briefly describe why the role exists and the scope of management responsibilities**The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing vendor confirmations to ensure that purchases orders are received and confirmed accurately.Works with warehouse locations on resolving OS&D;'s (overages, shortages and damaged goods) by updating changes to purchase orders.Assist the accounts payable team to resolve vendor invoice and purchase order discrepancies.
****Responsibilities**: Briefly describe what this person would be accountable for in their performance reviews (e.g., project implementation, report creation, process management, trade-off decisions).
List the accountabilities in order of importance to the enterprise.
- Expedite incoming shipments- Resolves APD's, OS&D;'s- Executes vendor returns- Review Exception reports for past due order lines, unconfirmed orders- Monitor inventory levels of assigned vendors and items and review system suggested orders; place corresponding purchase orders with vendors.
- Maintain vendor and item purchasing information in the system- Match vendor acknowledgements to purchase orders and verify cost, quantity, description, delivery date, and terms**Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience**: Briefly describe the knowledge, skills,
demonstrated behaviors and experience required for entry into the position/role**Required Experience**:- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position (Replenishment)- Material expediting, resupply, supply chain- Monitoring of Purchase Orders with Suppliers, Inventory levels.
- Knowledge in Material Replenishment, material requisitions, supply chain, purchase orders, negotiation and dealing with suppliers.
**Required Skills**:- Excellent communication skills- Strong computer skills; ability to efficiently navigate Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook.
