Transportation Logistics Assistant-Automotive industry

We are looking for a Transportation Logistics Assistant for the automotive industry to support the coordination and monitoring of vehicle deliveries from distribution yards to our dealer network across the country.

This position is idóneo for professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a strong interest in logistics and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Support daily vehicle dispatch planning based on dealer priorities, inventory availability, invoicing status, and transportation capacity.
- Prepare and maintain routing plans, loading schedules, vehicle assignments, and transportation tracking reports.
- Coordinate with vehicle yards to confirm unit availability, loading status, documentation, and vehicle release readiness.
- Monitor transportation providers throughout loading, transit, and delivery, ensuring timely updates on ETA, delays, and incidents.
- Maintain accurate tracking records by VIN, dealer, carrier, route, loading date, ETA, and delivery status.
- Follow up on operational issues and collaborate with carriers and yards to resolve delays, incomplete loads, pending units, or appointment scheduling conflicts.
- Collect and organize Proof of Delivery (POD), signed documentation, damage reports, and operational records.
- Support transportation invoice validation by ensuring trip completion and transport information accuracy.




- Generate daily and weekly reports on dispatches, deliveries, transit status, and operational performance.
- Update transportation data in SAP and Excel, ensuring consistency between operational records and system information.
- Escalate transportation risks, delays, or discrepancies to the Logistics leadership team when required.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Recent graduates with relevant internship or academic experience are welcome to apply.

Experience

- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, distribution, customer service, or operational administrative support.
- Experience within the automotive industry is a plus, but not required.

Skills & Knowledge

- Basic to intermediate SAP knowledge.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, filters, pivot tables, and data management.
- Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
- Attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic English proficiency is desirable.
