Commercial Operations Supervisor - TEMPORARY position - SAP Project

The Commercial Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the Commercial Operations team to ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of hardware, software, and service orders across Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence.

This role serves as the primary operational leader for order management activities, driving process consistency, service excellence, and cross-functional collaboration among Sales, Finance, Planning, Logistics, and other stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Operations Specialists, establishing clear performance expectations and supporting professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, commercial terms, and internal controls throughout the order-to-cash process.
- Monitor team workload, productivity, service levels, and operational KPIs, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Act as the primary escalation point for order-related issues, coordinating cross-functional resolution with Sales, Finance, Planning, Logistics, Legal, and other stakeholders.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying process improvement opportunities, standardizing procedures, and implementing best practices.
- Monitor order backlog, fulfillment performance, and operational dashboards, proactively addressing risks that may impact customer delivery commitments.




- Establish and maintain operational controls to ensure data accuracy, audit readiness, and proper documentation retention.
- Partner with management to support system implementations, process transformations, ERP/Salesforce enhancements, and other strategic initiatives.
- Analyze operational metrics and prepare reports for leadership, providing insights and recommendations to improve efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus within the team.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Order Management, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, Customer Operations, or related functions.
- 1-3 years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, team lead, or people management role preferred.
- Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations is preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce, SAP, or equivalent ERP systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of order management, invoicing, billing, revenue-impacting processes, and operational controls.
- Strong people leadership and coaching abilities.
