The Carrier Compliance Specialist is responsible for auditing, reviewing, and validating carrier information to ensure full compliance with Unilink Transportation's policies and applicable federal and industry regulations.This role plays a critical part in mitigating risk by approving or denying carriers based on safety, insurance, authority, and performance standards.Full time Schedule>Tiempo de Monterrey7:30 a 17:30 hrs Horario de Verano CST8:30 a 18:30 resto del año.
**Key Responsibilities**- Review, audit, and validate carrier onboarding documentation, including operating authority, insurance certificates, W-9s, and safety records.
- Verify carrier compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
- Monitor carrier safety ratings, CSA scores, and authority status.
- Approve or deny carriers based on established compliance criteria and risk thresholds.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date carrier records in the TMS and compliance systems.
- Communicate approval status, missing documentation,



or compliance issues to carriers and internal teams.
- Partner with Operations and Carrier Sales teams to resolve compliance issues and expedite approvals when appropriate.
- Conduct ongoing audits of active carriers to ensure continued compliance.
- Escalate high-risk carriers or compliance violations to management.
- Support internal and external audits related to carrier compliance.
- Stay current with regulatory changes impacting freight brokerage operations.Qualifications; Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in carrier compliance, carrier onboarding, or risk management within a freight brokerage or logistics company.
