Job Overview

Assists in ensuring and monitoring safety in the workplace including the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with established company, environmental and government regulations

Job Requirements

- Integrating reporting into existing business reporting systems to ensure employees, EHS teams, town hall meetings, etc. are informed of EHS performance, incidents, programs and initiatives; monitoring and report organizational safety performance against the TEOA Safety Tool.
- Maintaining a cadence of continuous improvement, effective problem solving and timely decision making; using technical knowledge, motivation and influencing principles to ensure TE EHS values, standards and behaviors are maintained.
- Propose, implement and use organizational EHS metrics that drive improvements in EHS performance, e.g. near hit reporting, behavioral safety scorecards, ergonomic assessment, risk assessment data, environmental permit data, hazard reporting, etc.
- Supporting the development, planning, implementation and maintenance of the EHS management system for the organization that meets the TE Safety Assessment for Effectiveness (SAFE) requirements, implements TE environmental sustainability programs, ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, TE policies and TE specifications and provides for continuous improvement in EH&S; performance.

Responsable de liderar la ejecución, cumplimiento y mejora continua de los programas de Seguridad, Salud y Medio Ambiente (EH&S;) de la planta. Asegura el cumplimiento legal y corporativo, promueve una cultura preventiva y colabora estrechamente con Operaciones, Ingeniería, Mantenimiento, Calidad y Recursos Humanos para minimizar riesgos y proteger a las personas, el medio ambiente y la continuidad del negocio.

Requisitos indispensables

- Licenciatura terminada.
- 3 a 5 años de experiencia en Seguridad, Salud y Medio Ambiente (EH&S;).
- Inglés intermedio-avanzado.
- Disponibilidad de horario.




- Experiencia en cumplimiento normativo, gestión de riesgos y seguridad industrial.

Requisitos deseables

- Conocimiento de las normas ISO 45001 e ISO 14001.
- Experiencia en sistemas de gestión de Seguridad y Medio Ambiente.
- Conocimiento de procesos de manufactura y mejora continua.

Herramientas y tecnologías

- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- SAP (deseable).
- Experiencia utilizando sistemas de gestión, seguimiento de acciones e indicadores.
- Conocimiento de Benchmark u otras plataformas de gestión EH&S; (deseable).

Responsabilidades principales:

- Liderar e implementar programas de Seguridad Industrial y Medio Ambiente.
- Identificar, evaluar y controlar riesgos en procesos, equipos e instalaciones.
- Coordinar investigaciones de incidentes, near misses y acciones correctivas.
- Administrar programas críticos de seguridad como LOTO, resguardos de maquinaria, trabajos de alto riesgo, contratistas y EPP.
- Gestionar el cumplimiento ambiental, incluyendo manejo de residuos, permisos, monitoreos y requisitos regulatorios.
- Dar seguimiento a auditorías internas, corporativas y gubernamentales.
- Analizar indicadores EH&S; y desarrollar planes de acción para mejora continua.
- Coordinar actividades de prevención, ergonomía, preparación y respuesta a emergencias.
- Supervisar, desarrollar y brindar coaching al personal EH&S; asignado.
- Impulsar iniciativas de mejora continua y fortalecer la cultura de seguridad en todos los niveles de la organización.
