We are hiring a BIM Modeler / Specialist focused on Plumbing & Hydrosanitary Systems (Instalaciones Hidrosanitarias) to join the design team of one of our U.S.-based construction clients in New York.

In this role, you will work directly with the client’s engineering team to develop detailed plumbing shop drawings, build 3D models using Revit MEP, and ensure full compliance with U.S. building codes (IPC / UPC). This is an idóneo position for Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineers, or Architects in Mexico with hands-on experience in plumbing design, hydrosanitary systems, and BIM coordination.

What You’ll Do

- Develop detailed 3D models and construction-ready shop drawings using Revit MEP.
- Design, model, and coordinate plumbing/hydrosanitary systems (domestic water, waste, vent, and stormwater) for commercial and residential U.S. projects.
- Apply IPC (International Plumbing Code), UPC, and relevant U.S. building codes to develop compliant, constructible designs.
- Perform clash detection and spatial coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Fire Protection disciplines using Navisworks.




- Proactively review plans to identify design conflicts and develop practical engineering solutions before construction.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews to eliminate modeling errors and maintain organized project documentation/revisions.

What You’ll Bring

- English Level: Advanced Technical & Conversational English (B2+ / C1).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in plumbing design, hydrosanitary design, or MEP modeling.
- Core Software: Expert proficiency in Revit MEP (mandatory) and Navisworks (clash detection).
- US Standards: Solid understanding of U.S. building codes (IPC / UPC) and U.S. construction documentation practices.
- Education: Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical MEP design experience.
- Location: Must be residing and eligible to work remotely in Mexico.
