The Role

What if your skills mattered more than your job title?

The Senior Recruiter will lead full-lifecycle talent acquisition strategies to source, attract, and hire top-tier technical, engineering, field operations, and corporate talent across upstream, midstream, or downstream sectors. This role serves as a strategic business partner to executive leaders and field operations managers, ensuring critical roles are filled efficiently while maintaining compliance with industry safety and labor standards.

Key Accountabilities

What you’ll do:

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for complex technical and leadership roles, including Petroleum Engineers, Geoscientists, HSE Specialists, Plant Managers, Field Technicians, and Project Managers.

- Develop targeted direct-sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, specialized job boards, and passive headhunting tactics.

- Conduct initial screenings, competency-based interviews, and technical candidate assessments.

- Lead intake sessions with hiring managers and operations leaders to define role requirements, market availability,



and salary benchmarks.

- Provide data-driven market insights regarding talent availability, competitor compensation, and recruitment challenges in key operating basins.

- Guide and advise hiring managers on candidate selection, interview best practices, and effective offer closing strategies.

- Partner with field leadership to align recruitment timelines with major project expansions, shutdowns, or turnaround schedules.

- Draft, negotiate, and extend competitive employment offers, including relocation packages, field per diems, and executive compensation structures.

- Maintain complete data accuracy in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and pipeline metrics.

Skills & Requirements

- Full-lifecycle recruitment experience, with at least 3 years specifically within the Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC, or heavy industrial sectors.

- Deep understanding of energy sector job functions, industry terminology, basin/field operations, and required safety/technical certifications.

- Advanced proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Taleo) and proactive sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, clearance/trade job boards).

- Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources,



Business Administration, or equivalent industry experience.

- Labor Law knowledge for Ecuador, Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia
