A equipe de Operações financeiras analisa, avalia, desenvolve, implementa, mantém e verifica os controles internos e comerciais para processos, sistemas, demonstrações financeiras, lançamentos e relatórios em conformidade com os objetivos corporativos e padrões governamentais, como a Lei Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) ou a 8ª Diretiva de Direito das Sociedades. Garante que a documentação de todos os processos da organização seja revisada e atualizada periodicamente. Resumo desta função

Based in Mexico, Monterrey, the RTR Accounting Manager will lead the Record-to-Report (RTR) function for the local legal entities. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of both US GAAP and local statutory financial reporting. A key component of this role is the oversight of our offshore service provider (Accenture), ensuring process excellence, and managing the unique financial complexities of our various Mexico legal entities.





This individual will work closely with and interact with multiple stakeholders in driving company-wide performance. Working directly with international teams across Whirlpool, including the regional controlling team in Brazil, Internal Reporting, Policies and Procedures, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;), Tax, Treasury, Regional Finance, and Operational Finance to deliver monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables as well as driving opportunities to enhance the financial accounting reporting processes.

Suas responsabilidades incluirão

- Oversight & Governance: Act as the primary point of contact and oversight lead for the Accenture RTR team. Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), review journal entries and reconciliations prepared by Accenture, and ensure adherence to Whirlpool’s Global Accounting Policies.

- US GAAP Accounting: Lead the month-end processes related to Mexico. This includes initiation of journal entries, review of work done by others and review of local financials prior to submission to Corp.

- Local Financial Statements: Lead the preparation of the annual local statutory financial statements in accordance with Mexico Accounting Standards.

- Audit Coordination: Serve as the lead coordinator for both internal and external audits. Manage the audit deliverable lists, facilitate testing, and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.

- Tax & Statutory Compliance: Partner with the Tax and Legal departments to ensure that accounting records support local tax requirements and regulatory filings.

- Internal Controls (SOX): Maintain a robust internal control environment.



Ensure all Mexico RTR processes are compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and that Accenture-managed controls are operating effectively.

- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline the close cycle by leveraging BPC and SAP tools, reducing manual intervention in the reporting of hyperinflationary impacts.

Manage and drive process efficiency

- Deliver continuous improvements in the financial reporting processes to drive simplification and overall reduction to the processing and cycle time

- Drive improvements in key financial processes to optimize efficiency

Requisitos mínimos

- Education: University degree in Accounting.

- Experience: 7+ years of experience in accounting or audit. Previous experience managing outsourced service provider relationships is a significant plus.

- Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and Mexico GAAP.

- Systems: Proficiency in SAP and BPC or similar consolidation tools.

- Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory (the role interacts daily with General and Regional headquarters).
