At Globant, we are looking for a Senior SQL Server Production DBA to join our InfraOps team. You will support mission-critical database environments, troubleshoot complex performance issues, and participate in cloud migration initiatives across Azure and AWS.

What You’ll Do

- Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server production environments, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot database and query performance issues, including locks, deadlocks, CPU, memory, I/O, and execution plans.
- Manage Always On Availability Groups, Backup & Recovery, and HA/DR strategies.
- Perform SQL Server maintenance, patching, upgrades, security, permissions, and operational tasks.
- Support and execute On-Premises to Cloud migrations.
- Manage SQL Server workloads in Azure and/or AWS environments.
- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Architecture teams.

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA / Production DBA.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server Administration.




- Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, performance tuning, indexing, and execution plans.
- Experience with Always On Availability Groups and Backup & Recovery.
- Experience supporting 24x7 production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS) and database migrations.
- Conversational/technical English for collaboration with global teams.
