We are currently looking for a Clinical Application Specialist to join our Clinical team in Mexico and play a key role in supporting healthcare professionals, implant centers, and ultimately, people living with hearing loss.

About the role

As our Clinical Application Specialist, you will use your clinical expertise to support audiologists, physicians, and implant centers in the assessment, management, and follow-up of candidates and users of implantable hearing solutions.

This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional clinical practice and expand your impact by educating healthcare professionals, supporting complex clinical cases, developing strong partnerships with implant centers, and helping advance clinical practices across Mexico.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide clinical and technical support to healthcare professionals working with Cochlear implantable hearing solutions.
- Support the evaluation and determination of candidacy for implantable hearing systems.
- Provide guidance on sound processor programming, fitting, and clinical follow-up.
- Analyze complex clinical cases and provide evidence-based recommendations to healthcare professionals.
- Train and educate audiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals on Cochlear systems, services, and clinical practices.
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals, implant centers, hospitals, and programming clinics.
- Support implant centers in developing greater autonomy and confidence in managing candidates and recipients.




- Contribute to the implementation of innovative clinical workflows for the management and follow-up of implantable hearing solution candidates and users.
- Monitor and report audiological outcomes from assigned centers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices and follow-up guidelines.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Qualification as a Medical Audiologist, Otoneurologist and Phoniatrician, with a current professional license/certification.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience, ideally including candidacy assessment and programming.
- Strong knowledge of the auditory pathway, hearing disorders, and the clinical management of hearing loss.
- Experience providing clinical care and follow-up to patients with hearing loss.
- Experience managing complex clinical cases and establishing appropriate expectations.
- Knowledge of sound processor programming and fitting.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence in delivering training and sharing clinical knowledge with healthcare professionals.
- A collaborative, customer-focused, and results-oriented approach.
- Fluent Spanish; English proficiency is considered a plus.
- Availability to travel primarily within Mexico and occasionally across Latin America.
