Your Job:
As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in scaling advanced manufacturing operations for Optical Transceivers, supporting one of the fastest-growing segments of the business. You will drive process development, industrialization, new product introductions (NPI), and continuous improvement initiatives that enable the successful launch and expansion of next-generation optical communication technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative products used in AI-driven data center infrastructure while collaborating with global engineering teams in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Our Team:
You will join the Optical Transceivers engineering team, a rapidly expanding organization focused on developing and scaling manufacturing capabilities for high-speed optical communication products. Our team partners closely with Operations, Quality, Product Engineering, and global technology leaders to bring innovative solutions from concept to production while supporting significant business growth.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the industrialization and deployment of manufacturing processes for optical transceiver products.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring successful transition from development to high-volume production.
- Drive manufacturing excellence through process optimization, line balancing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering changes, improve product quality, and accelerate business growth.
- Introduce new manufacturing technologies, methods,
and automation solutions to enhance operational performance.
- Utilize data, statistical analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies to improve process capability and product performance.
- Develop standard work documentation and provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in Process Engineering, NPI, Product Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience with SMT processes, electronic assemblies, or electromechanical manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, PDCA, or 5 Why.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Availability to travel occasionally as business needs require.
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Degree in Photonics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Experience with optical products, fiber optics, silicon photonics, or transceiver manufacturing.
- Experience with electronic board assembly, SMT manufacturing, or automated production systems.
- Background in automation, process validation,
or advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent continuous improvement certifications.
- Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to thrive in fast-growth environments.
