The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy as a Process Engineer and help drive operational excellence at our Reynosa, Tamaulipas manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of our operations by improving safety, quality, productivity, delivery performance, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
In this role, you will be at the center of continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, solve complex technical challenges, and implement innovative solutions. You will contribute to capital investment projects, support new product introductions, evaluate emerging technologies, and play a key role in developing world-class manufacturing practices.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Analyze manufacturing processes and performance data to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Support production during equipment, process, and new product start-ups.
- Investigate technical issues, implement corrective actions, and drive sustainable solutions.
- Define and execute capital improvement projects from evaluation through implementation.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Evaluate new technologies, tools, fixtures, and manufacturing solutions to improve operational performance.
- Collaborate in Daily Management Meetings and lead resolution of critical manufacturing challenges.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or continuous improvement environments.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC, Gemba, or similar methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Visa authorization permitting business travel to Hitachi Energy locations in the United States.
- Experience with CAD, manufacturing tooling, fixtures, process validation, or new product introduction is preferred.
