About the role
This role serves as the central operational bridge between regional manufacturing facilities and international markets. This role balances export demand and supply to ensure optimal product availability, inventory levels, and synchronized execution of product launches and transitions. Operating within a strict morning planning window, the position relies on data analytics and automated workflows to make real-time allocation decisions under a "Fair Share" and "net corporate benefit" mindset, directly driving key regional logistics metrics like Fill Rate and truck load utilization.
Key Responsibilities
-
Daily Supply & Demand Balancing: Execute daily and weekly supply planning cycles within Kinaxis and SAP to balance customer service against operational costs, allocating product equitably (Fair Share) across export distribution centers.
- Export Supply Consolidation: Consolidate replenishment plans from receiving locations to serve as the single point of contact for production facilities,
aligning factory output with regional export demand.
- Master Data & System Automation: Maintain planning master data integrity in SAP/Kinaxis to maximize the percentage of touchless, automatically generated orders and streamline supply chain workflows.
- Schedule Discipline & Warehouse Coordination: Adhere to strict daily morning planning cutoff schedules, resolving real-time warehouse assembly and transportation issues to prevent delays that directly impact regional Fill Rate targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Risk Escalation: Partner closely with Production, Transportation, and Synchronization Planners to optimize truck load utilization, proactively escalating supply constraints and fully utilized line alerts.
- Product Lifecycle & Continuous Improvement: Manage the synchronized supply chain execution for new product introductions (NPIs), phase-ins, and discontinuations, while driving process improvements in export warehouse replenishment.
Required Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in supply planning, transportation planning, or demand planning within regional or global supply chains.
- Languages: Intermediate English proficiency.
Desired Qualifications
-
Advanced Systems:
Hands-on experience or key-user experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse and 4Flow.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional time management and organizational skills to execute daily morning planning cycles under tight operational deadlines; sharp analytical capabilities to handle real-time inventory allocation.
- Regional Freight & Logistics: Solid understanding of Central American and Caribbean export logistics, customs clearing flows, and container/truck load optimization techniques.
- Process Optimization: Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies applied to inventory cycle time reduction.
- Systems & Tools:
- Proficiency in SAP (ERP/Planning modules).
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Workspace suite.
