We are looking for a Senior SAP Basis Administrator to support and improve KION’s global SAP landscapes. You will combine hands-on system administration with performance monitoring, incident resolution, release support, and coordination across internal teams and external service providers.

What you will do

- Administer SAP system landscapes across locations, with a strong focus on SAP Basis.
- Perform daily system checks, monitor performance, and implement optimization measures.
- Provide second- and third-level incident support and assist with changes and releases.
- Support integral rollout waves, SAP upgrades, implementations, and new system introductions.
- Coordinate external SAP service providers and act as the interface to application teams.
- Support application developers and business teams across the SAP landscape.
- Lead or contribute to technical workstreams when required.

Technology you will work with
- SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java systems, including ERP, EWM, SCM, Solution Manager, MES, and BW.
- SAP S/4HANA,



HANA, and Oracle databases.
- Linux-based SAP systems.
- SAP BTP and cloud connectors.
- Microsoft Azure virtualized environments.

What we are looking for

- 5+ years of hands-on SAP application maintenance and project experience, focused on SAP Basis.
- Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java administration.
- Experience with system monitoring, performance troubleshooting, incidents, changes, releases, and upgrades.
- Structured, hands-on working style and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.

Nice to have

- Experience with SAP BTP and cloud connectors.
- Experience supporting an S/4HANA transformation.
- SAP NetWeaver Java MES knowledge or an SAP consulting background.
