Role Description The CAD Drafter role at Quick-Drawings is a full-time, remote position focused on producing accurate, detailed CAD drawings for millwork and architectural projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting design specifications, creating and revising technical and architectural drawings, and preparing approval and production drawings in accordance with project and regional drafting standards. The CAD Drafter will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify requirements, resolve design issues, and ensure drawings meet quality and compliance expectations.





The role also involves organizing drawing files, maintaining documentation, and meeting deadlines for multiple concurrent projects. Attention to detail, consistency in standards, and proactive communication in a remote environment are essential.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and workflows, with the ability to produce precise digital drawings.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings for millwork, manufacturing, and construction applications.
- Experience creating and interpreting Architectural Drawings for residential, commercial, and public building projects.
- Solid foundational Drawing skills, including spatial visualization and the ability to translate concepts into clear plans.
- Knowledge of drafting standards, building codes, and industry best practices related to architectural and millwork design.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Effective time management, organization, and remote collaboration skills, including clear written and verbal communication.
- Relevant education or training in drafting, architecture, engineering technology, or a related field; professional experience in CAD drafting or millwork drafting is preferred.
