Position Overview

Segula Technologies is seeking an experienced PAC Program Architect / System Technical Lead to drive technical program management across vehicle lines. Acting as the vital bridge between design teams and functional departments (engineering, manufacturing, program management), you will ensure system compliance across functional, performance, cost, weight, timing, and quality objectives from concept through end-of-life.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Program Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact across vehicle lines, driving cross-functional alignment between design, engineering departments, and manufacturing teams.
- System Lifecycle &
- Development: Lead system responsibilities from concept phase to end-of-life. Provide execution support for concept studies, initial packaging, thermal system design, cost/weight analysis, prototype procurement, supplier sourcing, tooling kickoff, and launch.
- Architecture &
- E/E Integration: Ensure complete electronic integration of all ECUs within E/E architectures during vehicle development. Define, update, and manage the vehicle development plan to guarantee feature availability and coherent vehicle behavior.
- Requirements &
- Change Management: Release specifications to suppliers and manage Design Change Requests (DCR) to align product planning with bug fixes and supplier feedback.
- Vehicle Configuration &
- PROXI: Author PROXI and vehicle configuration requirements in End-of-Line (EOL) and service tools to ensure correct configuration during assembly and dealer service operations.
- Plant Support &
- Issue Resolution: Act as a visible member of the launch team onsite at assembly plants. Lead issue triage and root-cause resolution across pilot, pre-series, Job 1, and production ramp-up phases.
- Supplier &
- Quality Leadership: Manage suppliers, coordinate issue resolution, and execute quality improvement and value optimization initiatives.

- Requirements

Education &

- Core Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven engineering background in automotive systems, with focus on cooling, HVAC, thermal systems, air induction, or exhaust components.
- Working knowledge of UG/NX CAD systems.

Technical Skills &

- Expertise

- Thermal &
- Powertrain: Solid practical understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, electric vehicle (EV) thermal systems, and total vehicle testing (including NVH).
- Electrical &
- Systems: Diagnostics and on-board communication systems know-how, understanding of electrical circuits/operating principles, and familiarity with powertrain software/controls.
- Costing &
- Quality: Experience in component costing (variable cost and investment) and proficiency with Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) proactive/reactive tools.

Soft Skills &

- Mobility

- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct formal authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and complex supplier interactions.
- Availability to travel to supplier locations and vehicle assembly plants across North America as needed.
