Position Summary The HR Generalist will promote and enhance HR services by ensuring that customer service excellence is provided to employees in answering queries and providing information on a variety of HR programs and services. This will involve research, analysis and liaising with our external HR advisors to resolve more complex issues. As well, the individual may be called upon to lead and implement other HR projects as assigned.

The HR Generalist will lead developing and coordinating (the “Company” brand) to attract top talent and grow the Company through full-cycle recruitment. This role will be responsible for managing the recruitment process from beginning to end and will lead employee engagement activities as the Company grows.

This role operates within a cross-border leadership structure, reporting to the VP Finance while working closely and collaboratively with the Mexico Administrative team to ensure cohesive, well-coordinated HR and administrative support across the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

Mexican Labour Law Compliance

- Manage general employee relations issues and queries;
- Develop, maintain, and administer internal policies and procedures; and
- Liaise with legal counsel on employment law-related matters including immigration for international duties, employee discipline and terminations, etc.;

Recruitment

•Lead full cycle recruitment, including writing and posting of positions, resume and candidate tracking, pre-screening and interviewing of candidates for all positions. Experience with OCC, LinkedIn Recruiter (or other recruiting platforms) is considered an asset;

•Project manage and coordinate career/job fair attendance to attract top talent; and





•Attend universities and assist with guest speaker presentations; promote (the “Company” brand) and employment opportunities to attract recent graduates, future hires, co-op students, etc.

Onboarding, Training and Immigration

- Own the full employee lifecycle by leading onboarding and orientation, supporting employees through changes during their tenure, and managing offboarding to optimize the employee experience;
- Lead or assist work visa authorization processes for employees across various countries;
- Own the TN Visa process end-to-end, with ongoing responsibility for every application through to completion; and
- Coordinate company training needs and maintaining records.

Performance Management

• Lead the Performance Management System “PMS” including Succession Planning, Training and Development for (the “Company” brand)

- Collect and analyze HR data and make recommendations as necessary;
- Maintain an effective PMS including job descriptions, performance discussions and performance evaluations; and
- Collaborate with Management to provide continuous improvement on the organizational structure.

Compensation and Benefits

- Work with finance to oversee accurate completion of biweekly payroll(s) processing, along with associated reporting and tasks; and
- Administer and evaluate total employee compensation including benefits.



Identify opportunities and recommendations for enhancements while working collaboratively with Finance.

Employee Engagement

• Actively participate in developing a positive office culture and leading employee engagement by acting as the (the “Company” brand) Connect Lead;

• Research local volunteer initiatives and work with (the “Company” brand) Connect Committee to organize activities for Vista to participate; and

- Responsible for developing and facilitating intra-company communication strategies and team building initiatives.

Health and Safety

- Oversee workplace health and safety and ensure employees are properly trained on applicable policies and workplace hazards; and
- Ensure employees are compliant with customer site training requirements

Other

- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

•Bilingual: Spanish and English

•Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an HR role;

•Degree or diploma in HR, or other related field;

•Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and management and to tailor the message according to the audience;

•Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, knowledge of HR Databases and AI tools;

•Experience with employee payroll and benefits programs;

•Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);

•Entrepreneurial and resourceful;

•Organized self-starter;

•Ability to maintain confidentiality;

•Adaptable and adaptable;

•Customer service excellence orientation;

•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; and

•Ability to adjust to changing priorities and meet to deadlines.
