Role Description The ICT / STEAM Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Xalapa, VER. The teacher will design and deliver engaging ICT and STEAM lessons that integrate digital literacy, problem-solving, and creativity across grade levels. Daily responsibilities include planning and implementing hands-on projects, guiding students in the use of educational technology and tools, and assessing student progress through formative and summative evaluations.

The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to align ICT / STEAM activities with the broader curriculum and the Conscious Discipline approach,



participate in school events and professional development, and maintain clear communication with students, families, and staff. The role also involves creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs and encourages innovation and teamwork.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience in ICT and/or STEAM instruction.
- Ability to design effective Lesson Planning tailored to diverse learners and grade levels.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
- Experience in Training or mentoring learners in technology, science, engineering, arts, and mathematics projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools, coding basics, robotics, or makerspace environments is an advantage.
- Commitment to socio-emotional learning and student well-being; experience with Conscious Discipline or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to create an inclusive, safe, and motivating classroom environment and to work collaboratively in a school community.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
