About the job This position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary. What will you do? Ability to Translate Business Problems into Data Solutions Converts complex business needs into analytical, data‑driven, or mathematical solutions. Selects the correct methodologies, tools, and approaches to solve the problem. Strong Business Context Understanding Understands industry factors, cross‑functional business domains, and key metrics. Builds business cases with ROI and provides recommendations for complex issues. Data Source Identification Expertise Knows where data resides (SQL, No SQL, distributed stores) and how to assess data quality. Identifies the correct data source aligned to requirements and SLAs. Data Transformation & Integration (ETL/ELT) Hands‑on experience with ETL, batch/streaming processes, APIs, crawlers. Builds pipelines and preprocesses data (integration, normalization, feature extraction). Advanced Data Modeling Skills Designs conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Uses modeling tools (e.g., Erwin) and defines relational structures, keys, and procedures. Optimizes and evaluates existing models. Code Development & Testing Strong coding in SQL, Java, C++, Python. Writes test cases, builds POCs, validates solutions, and deploys to production. Experience:



Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related field. 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related field. Option 3: Master's degree in Computer Science and 1 year’s experience in software engineering or related field. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related field. 5 years' experience in data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics.
