Regional Formulated Product Development Manager

Location: Mexico

Regional Coverage: Latin America An international crop-protection company is seeking a Regional Formulated Product Development Manager to lead formulated-product development activities in Mexico and support collaboration across Latin America.

This role will connect field research, formulation development, registration, product positioning and commercial launch preparation. The successful candidate will work closely with regional commercial and regulatory teams, external research partners and general headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Mexico formulated-product development roadmap and annual field-trial portfolio.
- Identify priority crops, pests, application gaps and formulation opportunities.
- Translate market requirements into product-development briefs, trial plans and investment recommendations.
- Design and manage efficacy, crop-safety, residue-support and product-positioning trials.
- Select, brief and manage CROs, universities, research stations and technical consultants.
- Ensure trial protocols, data collection, statistical analysis and technical reports meet required quality standards.
- Provide technical data and supporting narratives for product-registration submissions.
- Work with regulatory colleagues to identify data gaps and address technical questions from authorities.
- Develop product-stewardship, responsible-use and resistance-management guidance.




- Benchmark products and formulations against local competitors, grower practices and market requirements.
- Develop label recommendations, technical claims, launch positioning and value propositions.
- Train sales teams and distributors on product use, technical positioning and field performance.
- Support product demonstrations, customer meetings and launch-readiness activities.
- Use field feedback to improve formulation, packaging and use recommendations.
- Coordinate with LATAM commercial, regulatory, supply-chain and headquarters teams.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, data quality, technical risks and delivery milestones.
- Build working relationships with key researchers, consultants, growers and distribution partners across Mexico.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Agronomy, Plant Protection, Agricultural Parasitology, Crop Science or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in agrochemical R&D;, field trials, technical development or product management in Mexico.
- Strong technical knowledge of insecticides, fungicides and herbicides.
- Experience in trial design, field-data interpretation and technical report preparation.
- Experience managing CROs, research stations, universities or multi-location field-trial programs.
- Ability to connect technical development with registration requirements, marketing needs and commercial launches.
- Professional Spanish and working English are required.
