Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Purchasing Direct Manager _located in _Guadalajara, North Campus_._
- Reporting to _the Director, Materials_,_ the _Purchasing Direct Manager _will be_ _responsible for issuing all material to manufacturing lines according to a specific production plan, will have to open all necessary WOs for this plan and give maintenance to them until be completed and closed._
Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
- _
Coordinates schedule of activities with customer on planning, scheduling, shipping and material acquisition during program start-ups._
- _
Produces revenue analysis and annual operating (AOP) plan and other forecast reports._
- _
Conducts special studies, investigations and analyses relating to the introduction of new products or processes to effect cost reduction and yield improvements._
- _
Responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s production control functions including Master Scheduling, Production_ Planning/Coordination,_ Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching._
- _
Develops, implements and approves items such as material requirements, planning systems, work in process tracking,



material and labor variance controls and manufacturing performance reporting._
- _
Approves quantities, schedules and parts list provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, receipt and issuance of production material requirements._
- _
Responsible for planning, reviewing and developing production procedures and personnel._
- _
Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process procedures._
- _
Interfaces with customers to ensure delivery commitments are met and with subordinates, functional peer group managers and senior management._
- _
Develops material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventory positions for customer programs. Utilizes models for determining material planning parameters for components._
- _
Interfaces with purchasing to expedite problem parts and to reschedule material deliveries that will result in excess inventory._
- _
Notifies Materials and Program Management of material situation that affect the attainment of the production plan._
- _
Travel as necessary._

BA/BS or equivalent work experience_

Electronic / Electronical Manufacturing_

Fluent English_
- _
Knowledge of production systems like Flex Flow._

MRP Experience_
- _
Experience in Inventory controls_

Ability to make data-driven decisions._
- _
Successful use of decision-making and analytical skills._

Excellent communication skills._
